Dear Designers,
Over the past few months our marketplace has grown from 600 products to almost 10,000 (and counting). We’ve packed our shop full of the best new brands and pre-owned products out there. As our marketplace gets bigger and better every day, we know that finding the right products can become a challenge. What’s the best way to filter through design alternates? What will ship in 4 weeks? How can I collect and reference the products I love?
Today, we’re launching our new shopping experience and it’s open to everybody.
We set out to create a storefront built for easy browsing and discovery. We’ve provided better organization, navigation, and tools to let every designer curate, collect and explore in their own way. An easily navigable shop can amplify the creative process. Even the most utilitarian tools (like search) can unlock new levels of inspiration by making it that much easier to find exactly what you’re looking for – or what you didn’t know you were looking for.
A few key things we’ve improved upon in this release:
-Better search, filter and sort features will empower you to stumble upon something new, or double-click into an all time favorite brand.
-Shortcut filters, highlighting Quickship and Second Life items, will help you meet project deadlines and goals.
-Most importantly, our entire shop is now publicly available to view – so you can easily share the things you love with your collaborators.
Our shop is the foundation of our platform, offering access to thousands of products with real and reliable data where and whenever you need it. So it’s important that it works the way that you work, so that you can continue to discover, inspire, create, and deliver better, more sustainable spaces.

Trained as an architect, Margaret is passionate about the intersection of design and technology. Since joining Canoa at its outset in 2020, she has helped drive the development of our core platform with particular attention to the creative experience.
Previously, Margaret led Special Projects and Design Strategy teams at WeWork, where she fostered unique architectural engagements through impact partnerships and landmark sites. As an architectural designer, her work experience also includes time at RAMSA and WXY Studio.
Margaret grew up in London and currently lives in Brooklyn. She received her M.Arch with honors from the Yale School of Architecture and B.A. in Architecture cum laude from Princeton University.
